Computer and Internet Training for Seniors
I have been using computers for over 30 years and the Internet for over 15 years. I have worked on computers in the 70′s at Rank Xerox in Welwyn. I have worked for a computer maintenance company in the 90′s. I have run my own computer company from 1999 to 2008. I got involved with the Internet when it first started developing in the domestic market over 15 years ago.
For the last three years I have designed websites and supported three family businesses and used the Internet to market those businesses on the Internet. I have also produced a number of websites to market my other interests and this website is one of them.
I would like to offer my services to anyone who needs help in using computers and or the Internet. I can offer help if you are just starting out in using computers, setting up an email account or you may want a better understanding of the Internet.
Maybe you are looking to design your own website or interested in knowing what free software is available, or you want to communicate with a friend or family member in another country via the Internet. I offer home visits if required or I can arrange group training at a local venue.
I offer computer training for seniors as I am one myself but because I have met many of my age group that have so little understanding of computers and the Internet. There is so much information and interesting stuff on the Internet that I believe most senior people are missing out because they find it difficult to get to grips with their computers.
When someone has been shown the basics and shown where to find information then the Internet will open up a whole new world to them. The old saying that ‘there is no such thing as a free lunch’ is so inaccurate when it comes to the Internet. Once you have a computer and a connection to the Internet the information is free and 000′s of other things to numerous to list here.
