Who is Stevenage Local?
Stevenage Local is a new website founded by Alan Bunyan who has lived in Stevenage for 50 years. The three videos below are of his families businesses.
- Edible Bouquets was set up in 2007 by Tara and Dulcie which has become a successful business even in these difficult times.
- Jet a Drive was set up in mid 2008 by Steve. Although it has been tough getting off the ground it has finally started to bring in new business.
- Aqua Valeting is owned and run by son-in-law Richard and has been very successful for the last 15 years.
Video is the new way to advertise on the Internet.
You do not need to be an International company to product TV commercials. The Internet gives every business large or small the opportunity to advertise their products and services through websites and now increasingly through VIDEO.
If you use Google to search for information you will have seen videos coming up in your searches. Google now owns YouTube and are treating videos the same as websites. So if a video uploaded to YouTube has been described correctly the video can appear on the first pages of your search.

YouTube selects videos that are receiving large views and asks the video owner if they can put adverts on the video. Revenue generated from viewers clicking on the advertisements is shared between YouTube (Google) and the video owner.
